부산대학교 철학과
모든 학문의 토대가 되는 철학의 교육을 통해 올바른 인생관과 세계관을 함양함으로써 존재의 본질을 통찰하고 급변하는 세계의 사상적 변화를 파악하여 인간과 사회의 올바른 지향점을 모색할 수 있는 보편적 양식과 지성을 갖춘 인재를 육성하고자 하는 목적을 가지고 철학과가 1948년에 설립되었다.
이와 같은 교육 목적의 달성을 위한 구체적인 교육목표는 다음과 같다.
1. 논리적 사고력과 창의적인 문제 해결력을 갖춘다.
2. 철학 사상의 이해를 통해 세계의 사상적 변화를 전망할 수 있는 안목을 갖춘다.
3. 올바른 인생관의 확립을 통해 지성인으로서의 교양과 양식을 갖춘다.
1956년에 대학원 철학과 석사과정을, 1979년에는 박사과정을 개설하였으며, 1971년부터 교직과정을 설치한 이래로 2008년도에는 개설 60주년을 맞이한 역사와 전통의 학과로서 본과는 학생들이 사회의 다양한 분야에서 활동하거나 다양한 학문 영역으로 진학할 수 있는 기초학문을 강의하고 있다. 학부 학생들은 대학원생들과 대학교수 및 강사로 활동 중인 많은 동문 선배들과 교류하면서 활발한 학술 활동을 펼칠 수 있다.
이러한 학술 활동의 일환으로 콜로키움이 정기적으로 개최되고 있으며, 대학원의 동양, 서양, 사회 철학 세 계열이 전공별로 돌아가며 각 분야의 전문가를 초빙하여 발표와 토론이 이루어지고 있다.

By cultivating a correct view of life and world through the education of philosophy, which is the foundation of all studies, it is possible to gain insight into the essence of existence, grasp the ideological change in the rapidly changing world, and have the universal style and intelligence to find the right direction for humans and society. The Department of Philosophy was established in 1948 with the purpose of nurturing talented people.
The specific educational goals for achieving such educational purposes are as follows.
1. It has logical thinking and creative problem solving ability;
2. It has an eye for predicting the ideological change of the world through understanding philosophical ideas;
3. It shall have the culture and style as an intellectual through the establishment of a proper view of life;
The Department of Philosophy opened a master's degree in graduate school philosophy in 1956, and a doctoral degree in 1979, and also established a teaching course since 1971.
The Department of Philosophy at Pusan ??National University, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2018, is a department with history and tradition, lecturing basic studies that can be active in various fields of society or enter various academic fields, undergraduate students can actively engage in academic activities by interacting with graduate students and many alumni seniors who are university professors and lecturers.
As these academic activities, the Colocium is held regularly, and three parts of graduate school's Oriental, Western, and social philosophy are conducted by majors, inviting experts from each field to present and discuss
